Whole Foods has lost it

Whole Foods is banning the sale of lobsters because they cannot guarantee that the lobsters were "treated with respect while being caught." Folks, it’s a bottom feeder. It’s got less than 100,000 neurons. It’s an overgrown insect. A damned tasty one, but still an insect.

If you feel bad about eating them, you can always drop a knife through its noggin before throwing ’em in the lobster pot. But seriously, give consumers the choice to do what they want. Oh well, I’m doing my consumer thing and not shopping at Whole Foods. BTW, shareholders don’t seem to like it either; WFMI is off 1.25% today (down 25% YTD).
